We are the Romsey Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
A wonderful walk from Pentridge (Near Martin) via the Curcus, Ackling Dyke (a Roman Road), Bowldish Pond, Blackbush Down and Pentridge Down. The course takes in bits of The Hardy Way and the Jubilee Trail. Mostly on the Cranborne Estate. Gently hilly. Beautiful countryside and views. Only one stile.

Romsey Rapids car park adjacent to Romsey Town FC for car share to starting point. Car sharing is strongly recommended because of the distance to travel and limited parking
From the A354 (Salsbury – Blandford Forum road) turn left (coming from Salisbury). Follow the road into Pentridge, turn right at the T-junchion and then park in the Green where it is signed posted to “The Church” and “The Green”.
