We are the Romsey Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
The route takes in typical New Forest scenery of open grassland and wooded paths. Starting from the Pipers Wait car park we cross Black Bush Plain before entering the Salisbury Trench Enclosure from where we head north east towards the Bramble Hill Hotel en-route to the start point. This will be a leisurely walk along mainly good paths but being the New Forest there will be the inevitable muddy and rough patches so walking boots are recommended. There is one style and an easy ford to cross.

The meeting point is in the Romsey Rapids CP adjacent to the Romsey Town FC pitch fence. Contact walk leader if lifts are required.
