Overview

9 miles moderate walk. It begins at Pontcysyllte aqueduct near Llangollen. For those uncomfortable with crossing the aqueduct there is an easy road route available. The Walk climbs up to the top of the valley side, with good views and returns on a lower level, again with good views. Return is across aqueduct/along country road.
