Starting from Posenhall Life Skills Tea Rooms, just off B4375 Broseley, Benthall to Much Wenlock road, we will walk at a leisurely pace across undulating fields and past the site of an abandoned village using parts of the Shropshire Way, Jack Mytton Way and quiet lanes, returning via Wyke and passing Benthall Hall. Excellent views of distant Clee Hills and The Wrekin are possible, weather permitting. We finish with a social lunch at the friendly Posenhall Tea Rooms which has an excellent selection of home made meals, snacks and cakes. Please pre-order meals by messaging or emailing Helen H by Sun 3rd Sept - two photo's of the menu boards are in the gallery.
This is an undulating woodland and fields countryside walk with some short ups and downs. The walk may be muddy in parts. There is a short section of around 250m on a B road. Please bring a mid morning drink and snack. Dogs on leads with the prior permission of the leader, must book with the leader Helen.
Parking space is at a premium, so car-sharing would be appreciated.
Please pre-order meals for lunch by Sun 3rd Sept, texting or emailing selections to me. See the two photos in the gallery for the menu boards.
