Overview

A fairly flat and easy scenic circular walk commencing at Preesall. Paths and tracks are generally good as we commence our walk in the direction of Hay Nook. Here we join the Wyre Estuary walking past Barnaby sands and Burrows Marsh, on the saltmarsh a type of purple sea lavender grows that is found nowhere else in the world. We then head through Knott end golf club and walk briefly on Prince Philip Way enjoying stunning river and sea views. As we continue our walk circling around to return to Preesall we have on a clear day excellent views of Heysham the lakes and beyond.
