From Whitton we will climb up to the hills behind the village to meet the Offa's Dyke Path. We stay on this to Dolau Green and crossing the River Lugg. From there we will climb up Litton Hill before making our way back to Whitton.
Two substantial ascents, including one at the start of the walk. Great views from the hills on a good day. Bound to be mud! On the reccie we had to walk through a herd of bullocks as their feeder is on the path. We did not encounter any problems. We were delighted to find this route very well waymarked, with no stiles.
