We are the Mid Staffordshire Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Join us at the Punch Bowl, on the northern edge of Cannock Chase, from where we walk to the Stepping Stones and Seven Springs. We then join the Trent & Mersey Canal to Haywood Lock where we will walk along a beautiful stretch of the Staffs & Worcs canal, with some lovely views of the River Trent along the way.
We leave the canal near Tixall and walk to Milford Common, where we re-enter Cannock Chase to take us back to our starting point.
We will stop for a couple of coffee and snack breaks so please bring your own refreshments.
If anybody would like to use the facilities at Shugborough it might be advisable to bring your NT membership cards if you are a member.
