Overview

This loop is just over 9 miles with an option to finish at the Red Lion pub after 5 miles.

The walk begins with a meander through the lovely Radwinter church yard. Across fields and following hedgerows, we find our way to the Red Lion Pub at Great Sampford where we will have lunch before carrying on. The return to Radwinter is shorter at around 4 miles. For those wishing to walk only in the morning, please arrange with others of like mind to drop a car at the pub. We have a menu and will call in the order for lunch on the walk. For those going on, the lunch stop will be about 45 minutes in order to finish the walk in a timely manner.
