Overview

A circular walk accessing some of  Dyfnant's Rainbow Trails, originally designed as  horse and carriage trails but walkers and cyclists are encouraged to use these too. Some of the routes take in forest paths with some inclines  but as the vast majority of paths are solid these hopefully should be manageable. Depending on the weather the walk may include an extension which takes the walk through the woods from the car park at Hendre down to the village at Pont Llogel along the initial part of the Ann Griffiths walk , which provides a  scenic route along the River Vyrnwy . the ideal place to stop for a break.  The route will be  adapted  / finalised following the the final recce during the week prior to the walk taking place. Please bring lunch and snacks  for the 2  stops we will take. Please  also ensure you have sufficient drinks in case it is a hot day. Toilet breaks will be built into the walk.
