Overview

This varied and interesting walk starts from the Church at Reed. We make our way through the cemetery onto open fields, winding through lanes to Barkway, passing  by many enviable properties.  As we enter  the attractive village of Barkway, you will see the Wagon Wash, an historical landmark.  From Barkway we cover the ground bordering onto Nuthampstead, from field to woodland, entering the estate of Cokenach, here we may be fortunate to see some newly arrived spring lambs, before taking the path to Reed.
