We are the Kilmarnock & Loudoun Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
This walk follows the River Ayr Way along a clear path of grass, gravel and boardwalk. It is virtually level with a few short inclines and steps and 2 wooden footbridges with about 10 steps up and down. Due to recent weather conditions there are sections which are wet and muddy also a few fallen trees to clamber over or under but all passable with care.
Sections of the walk are exposed so warm waterproof clothing and boots also gaiters and poles advised. We will have 2 short stops.
