Overview

An initially uphill walk through the scenic Roddlesworth Reservoir area and the Tockholes Plantation to Ryal Fold, where we can enjoy a coffee stop.

We will return to Abbey Village taking in a short section of the Witton Weavers Way and Tockholes village, and then across pleasant countryside back to the start point.

Suitable for new members wearing appropriate footwear.

Toilets available at Ryal Fold 75 minutes into the walk.

Park roadside on Dole Lane (the lane is opposite the Hare & Hounds pub, off the A675 Bolton Road)
