Overview
The walk starts from the car park at the far end of the village, just before the road crosses the burn. We follow Fairy Glen path (beloved by dog walkers and families), and on reaching the waterfall ascend to the main road briefly before turning left on a minor track to reach the top of the Dens. These are extraordinary geological features, rarely visited but well worth seeing. The path eventually descends back to Rosemarkie, at which stage anyone who wishes can return to their vehicles. The walk continues there-and-back along the beach, to better work up an appetite for afternoon tea. There is a low stile and an easily crossed fence on this walk
