We are the Hampshire 40+ Walking Group. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
We will set off on our hike from Rowlands Castle at 10am to pick up the Monarch's Way heading to Blendworth. From Blendwoorth we pick up the Sussex Border Path which will take us over to Chalton. Having had our lunch stop we then pick up the Staunton Way which will take us to Finchdean for our final leg back to Rowlands Castle.
This hike will be at a reasonable pace and we will have a short coffee and lunch break. Naturally at this time of year we might encounter some muddy paths so appropriate footwear is essential.
All welcome together with dogs under control.

There will be parking around Rowlands Castle however I would recommend using the recreational ground car park off The Fairway. If there is a football game on this can also become busy so park on The Fairway considerately. We will gather for our 10am prompt start in front of the Village Hall on Links Lane opposite The Fairway.
