This walk takes us from Rugeley Town railway station along to Slitting Mill before heading over the Chase towards Birches Valley and then along Maquis Drive. After Jockey Hill we continue along to Stile Cop Road and the India Hills returning back to our cars through the outskirts of Rugeley
The majority of the route is on well maintained forest tracks, though the last third was on less well used paths
This is a leisurely walk with no stiles. Toilets are available at Birches Valley visitor centre, about an hour in to the walk
parking is free at Rugeley Town railway station
