This is a circular walk from Mill End Plants in Rushden going eastwards to Brookside. We will do the walk in the clockwise direction to take in Southern Green and Lye End Farm on the way out and to go just south of Broadfield Hall on the return leg.
This is one of the walk leader's favourite walks because of the overall rural feel and the abundance of small, usually ancient woods. It is however a little longer than our average weekday walks
Meet in the car park for Mill End Plants, Rushden. Park at the lower end of the car park and double park in order to leave ample space for nursery customers. We are able to use the customer toilets if required. Please stay for coffee and cake after the walk in exchange for the car parking (or buy a plant).
