Overview

Condense cars and drive to the RSPB car park on the B970. Take path beside B970 past Ruthven Barracks, branching south over shoulder of Beinn Bhuidhe, before dropping down quite a steep path to Glentromie Lodge. Cross the river and follow metalled road downstream past Killiehuntly to Tromie Bridge. Cross back over the river and take path along edge of Insh Marshes to return to car park.
