Saturday rail ramble – Hartlebury to Droitwich

The beauty of this walk is that it is linear – we start at Hartlebury railway station and finish at Droitwich railwaystation – with a short seven minute train ride back to the start point. It is also a leisurely walk over fairly gentle terrain – so ideal for anyone thinking of giving us a try for the first time. Not only that – but there is a chance to enjoy refreshments at the Hartlebury Brewery Tap pub – which is on the station – including their own award winning beers!

From Hartlebury we walk along quiet field paths through the lovely Worcestershire countryside to join the Monarchs Way long distance path - and then the canal for the final part of the walk to Droitwich. We then catch the train back to Hartlebury (the train fare is £3.40).
