We are the Tendring District Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
A linear walk from Freston to Shotley including a stretch along the River Stour.
We will catch the number 97 bus from outside the Bristol Arms PH in Shotley Gate at 09:55. (Please note earlier start time for bus).
From the drop off in Freston we will make our way to Chelmondiston and back to Shotley along the banks of the River Stour. Please bring a picnic lunch.
Please ensure you are parked in time to be ready to catch the 09:55 bus outside the Bristol Arms.
Please bring bus passes or money to pay for the bus.
Park along the seafront opposite the Bristol Arms either on Bristol Hill or in Queen Victoria Drive.
