We are the Ashford Ramblers and are of of 13 groups in Kent, that help to promote the benefits of walking with others in the county.

On the last Saturday of the month throughout 2025, Ashford Ramblers are hosting a short taster walk, with the aim of introducing prospective new members to the group and to wonderful world of walking. All of the walks planned are fairly low level with only a few gradual inclines, so are ideal for those not yet ready for our longer Sunday walks.
The first of these walks is around 5.5 miles and heads through the parkland of the Godinton Estate, before returning to our start point. Members of course are also welcome to attend these walks if they have a couple of hours or so free.
Walk leader is Steve Bourne.
Meet in Singleton Centre Car Park, which is the one on the left hand side, the Singleton Barn pub is right opposite
