Overview

This is another of our shorter walks, so ideal for a Summer evening, and is a circuit of approximately 5.5 miles, we should therefore be comfortably done and dusted after a couple of hours or so.

We head through Hothfield Common to join the Greensand Way/ Stour Valley Walk over to Little Chart Forstal and onward to Little Chart. Turning right at the Swan Inn, we then meander our way back, re-entering at the northern edge of the common.

If we are lucky we might spot the Konik horses, whilst the heather may perhaps also be on display, to add some colour to this short stretch of the legs.
