Overview

This is a 6-mile evening walk commencing from Hythe, that starts off beside the Royal Military Canal, before heading upwards, upon reaching Seabrook. The short and steady ascent commences at Hospital Hill and into woodland, however the climb is not overly taxing for those used to a bit of effort.

We cross the road at Horn Street, and from there proceed to Shornecliffe Barracks and into the peaceful Seabrook Valley, passing the Military Cemetery and onwards through Paraker Wood & Sene Wood. The route then joins the Elham Valley Way as we cross the fairways to pass the trig point within Sene Valley Golf Course, on our return to Hythe.
