Overview

Walk through the Slindon Estate, potential for some views out to the coast. Woodland and open farmland tracks, initially following Stane street/ Monarch’s Way. Passing NT, Gumber Farm and through woodland to Shippams Post.Hopefully some autumn colour through the woodland and scenic views. View from the Folly before following around Slindon Park to arrive at the village. Walk through pretty village and have lunch stop here. There is a community village cafe/ shop,’ The Forge’ so opportunity to get take away drink/ cake/ sausage roll etc etc.Lunch stop in the village visiting the church before leaving village to follow route across Little Down and Great Down to return to start.

Please bring a snack and a picnic, ( option to get supplies from the Forge).
