Overview

A gently undulating walk taking in The Lines, a former mining railway: skirting Billy Woods and Kippax, back onto The Lines south to Allerton Bywater.

Then down to the north bank of The Aire and along the riverbank to St Aidan’s at Shan House Bridge, then a tour of the Nature Park for some beautiful scenery and hopefully interesting flora and fauna.

Less than 9 miles, moderately easy, taking about 3 1/2 hours.
