Overview

A circular walk along the canal towpath and back by footpaths through the village and acoss fields by the River Trent with approx half mile road walking on our return - generally flat, some stiles, horses and sheep in one field.

Swarkestone Garden Centre car park, Lowes Lane. Garden Centre are happy for us to use the car park but please park at the far end of the site by the shipping containers - go to the right of the main buildings and beyond the polytunnels - cafe is available for drinks/lunch but dogs not allowed inside
