We are the Bath Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Leaving the Swineford Picnic Site, we have a slight incline to Upton Cheyney, then walk along a narrow road until we reach a footpath that will take us through fields down to Bitton, where we will join the Monarchs Way to the outskirts of Keynsham and reach the River Avon.
We then follow the river back to Swineford.
It is a flatish walk of 4 miles going through fields.

The walk is led by our friends at Kingswood Ramblers, who have kindly invited us to join them.
Park and meet at Swineford Picnic Site, BS30 6LN - travelling from Bath, turn right just after the Swan pub at Swineford, and follow the road up to the Picnic Site.
