This is a circular walk starting at Teggs Nose visitor centre (parking £3, toilets available). From there, we will take the steep downhill path signposted 'Sadler's Way' and head into the beautiful Macclesfield Forest.
The walk will take us past the reservoirs and include the stoned path up to Shutlingsloe trig point with spectacular views at the top. We will then head back down into the forest following signs for the Gritstone Trail.
Reaching the top of Teggs Nose, involves a steep slope but well worth the rewarding views. We then follow the trail back to the visitor centre passing some historic quarry machinery on the way.
