Following the Tennyson Trail from Carisbrooke through Brighstone Forest and over Brook Down to Freshwater Bay and then on to Freshwater
No shop, cafe or pub on route until Freshwater Bay, so coffee and lunch stops will on the route. Red Lion pub in Freshwater by the church.
Catamaran at 0915 to Ryde Pier Head, then No 9 Bus from Ryde at 1000 to Newport and 12 or 7 bus on to Carisbrooke.
Return to Newport and Ryde by bus
Meet at Wightlink passenger terminal at the seaward end of the station.
