A circular walk on Barnham Common, Thetford. This is a SSSI and "supports well-developed areas of calcareous and acidic Breckland grassland heath and some tall neutral grassland. The site has a rich flora, including several nationally rare plants and the considerable diversity of habitat attracts a corresponding diversity of birds."
Walk starts at rear car park Charles Burrell Centre (NOT Charles Burrell Museum)
The Charles Burrell Centre, Staniforth Road. Thetford IP24 3LH. Please park in the car park at the rear of the building. The car park is at the far end of the site adjacent to the common on old tennis courts and near a portacabin. Toilets and a cafe available on site.
