Overview

A walk from the Trouper Inn at Froxfield, through fields to the lovely Autumn colours of the Beech Hangers in "Little Switzerland". Some steep hills will be rewarded by stunning views from the top of Wheatham Hill. There will be a coffee stop and lunch stop, please bring refreshments. No need to book on this walk, just turn up at the start.

The walk comprises two very steep hills (both up and down) and one less steep but long hill. There are also a number of stiles. Walking poles will be helpful for the steep downhill stretches and for some paths which are likely to be muddy after rain.
