Overview

This linear walk starts with a bus trip to Trowell. The 10.05am Two bus from Victoria Bus Station drops us off at Trowell where we find our way to the tranquil Erewash Canal. 2 miles along the canal we cross to the opposite side and up to Stoney Clouds Nature Reserve where we get good views of the Erewash Valley. After a well deserved lunch stop in Stapleford we head down Baulk Lane to Inham Road, then follow the Tramline into Chilwell. From here we can pick up the tram or bus back to Nottingham City Centre.
