Overview

Meet and park at Thorswood Nature Reserve, only a small carpark, so roadside parking will be needed too.

Anticlockwise route through Staffordshires moorland terrain contouring under the Weaver hill then down into Tinsell brook valley, returning back via Stanton village and Blakelow hill settlement.

There are odd awkward stiles, walking poles helpfull,care needed on road sections,

Please note there is a short steep ascent at the end of this walk.
