Overview

A level walk over farmland, touching on some residential areas, and alongside the final stretches of the Rivers Brue and Parrett. Little mud encountered when recce-ing (9thMarch). Dogs will need to be on leads in some areas. Easy walk but 15 stiles.

Option to bring your packed lunch to eat before the walk:  From 12 noon, meet at the Huntspill Hub Honesty Cafe in the welcoming St Peter & All Hallows Church, which offers hot drinks in return for a donation. Toilets are available inside the church until it closes at 4 pm

Even if you don’t want to eat or drink there, this beautiful church is worth a visit. According to the National Churches Trust, St Peter & All Hallows is “Known as one of the best country churches in Somerset and is often called the Cathedral of the Levels.” The churchyard is also delightful.
