From the car park the walk passes Eyam Youth Hostel and immediately after takes a short steep track up to Ladywash, followed by an undulating walk across Eyam Moor to Stoke Ford. Then back along Bretton Clough to the Barrel Inn and Youth Hostel at Bretton. It descends down a minor road to Foolow and concludes with a gentle stroll across fields back to Eyam.
We normally stop for a drink after about an hour walking and we stop for lunch at about 12:30 so bring along a hot or cold drink and a packed lunc

Free carpark on Hawkhill Road, Eyam. Coming from Church Street, go north along Hawkhill Road, past the toilets and pay car park and take the next right signed Free car park. Those going direct to the start to please inform the leader in case of any late changes.
