We are the Cleveland Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
From Ugthorpe church, we follow field paths N to Mickleby. Turning right then left on the village road takes us to B1266 and A174, which we cross on to Coverdale lane. Following the lane N to Northfields Farm, we turn W along paths and road to Ellerby. More field paths take us W and SW to Hawthorne Farm and the B1266. The route continues along a track SW on the edge of Newton Mulgrave Woods, then S and SE to meet the Ugthorpe road opposite Ewe Farm. The road is then taken back to the village.
There will be a ten minute break. Please feel free to bring a drink/snack to enjoy.
There are no public toilets on the route. There were cattle in one field on the recce.
