Overview

From Faringdon we head due south to go gently up to the mid-Vale Ridge, pausing to take in the wonderful views of the northern side of Vale behind us. Just before we descend to Fernham we’ll stop to look over the southern side of the Vale to the Downs beyond, including White Horse Hill and the Ridgeway. Fernham is our turn-around place; we’ll make our way back to Faringdon via another route, taking in Wickleshamlodge Farm. Leader DC 01367 820683 / 07544 979253
