Overview

We start from the Ridgeway and move down the Downs to the racehorse village of Lambourn, where we take a break by the picturesque church. From here we move back up the Downs passing racehorse gallops and stop in the woods for our lunch. Then onto to White Horse Hill for some fantastic views, from there we walk along the Ridgeway back to the start. A hilly walk (850ft of ascent) but with few stiles. The Downs in January can be a bit on the bracing side, so wrap up warm. Vale Walk Leader PR 07418 078044
