Overview

In 1990 dance music was going in all sorts of directions. Acid House was out, Italo House was in. The music was getting harder with New Beat coming from Belgium and the Bleep Techno scene coming from Yorkshire. It was also getting more mellow with the "Bristol Sound" and Manchester bands mixing guitars with dance beats.
