A second helping of the Capital Ring that takes us from Highgate down the Parkland Walk, the River Lee, through iconic urban green spaces with a traverse of the East End via a historic "green" sewer and docklands. We emerge from the Woolwich foot tunnel to reach journey's end at the Royal Arsenal. The walk will be at a moderate to brisk pace but you do not have to walk the full 20 miles - there will be plenty of drop-out points if you want to shorten it.
You could also start about half way and do nine miles or so if you prefer something shorter - join us at the lunch stop at the Riverside East bar near the Queen Elizabeth Stadium (nearest Tube station Stratford) for the final leg. We should arrive around 1.30pm.
Please bring a packed lunch.
Travel: Use TfL journey planner to arrive at start on time. Use contactless/Oyster. Meet at Highgate station's Archway Road exit.
