A second helping of the Capital Ring that takes us from Highgate down the Parkland Walk, the River Lee, through iconic urban green spaces with a traverse of the East End via a historic "green" sewer and docklands. We emerge from the Woolwich foot tunnel to reach journey's end at the Royal Arsenal. The walk will be at a moderate to brisk pace with of course plenty of drop-out points.
If nine miles or so is plenty, join us at the lunch stop at the Riverside East bar near the Queen Elizabeth Stadium (nearest Tube station Stratford) for the final leg. We should arrive around 1.30pm.
