We initially head east following the Wayfarers Way with, hopefully, great views to the north. Turning south, we follow the Brenda Parker Way across the Faccombe Estate and into the village for a coffee stop by the duck pond. We continue south through Faccombe Wood before turning north west to eventually join the Test Way into Linkenholt, where we will stop for lunch. We continue north west along the Test Way before turning north onto the Pewsey Down circular walk, through Coombe Wood and the village of Coombe, back to the start.
The route follows a number of well maintained estate roads and farm tracks however, there are some sections of footpath that are likely to be very muddy, some on a chalk base, so care will be required. There are the usual "quiet" road sections to link footpaths plus a number of gates and three stiles, all in good condition albeit one is on a steepish downhill path.
Please bring food and drink for the day to include coffee and lunch stops.
This walk is limited to 16 so please use the link below to book your place, before 6pm on 5 March.
The route includes over 450m of ascent/descent and is quite undulating throughout. With wet conditions underfoot and very changeable weather please ensure your bring an appropriate range of clothing and equipment for all conditions.
