We are the Dorset 4050 Ramblers. We are a friendly, mixed-age group of walkers.
The weather looks great this weekend so I have re-cycled a walk to the sea.
The walk takes us from Dorchester, Brewery Square to Winterborne Came via Maxgate (home of Thomas Hardy) and on to Sutton Poyntz where we will stop for lunch by the village pond. After lunch we head south through Preston to pick up the South West Coast Path to Weymouth. There will be time for an ice cream at Weymouth before catching the train back to Dorchester. We can use group save, so the single fare will be a under £3.

The Dray Horse outside of the Odeon Cinema, Brewery Square, Dorchester There is free Sunday parking on streets near by in Coburg Road and Queens Avenue It is possible to do this walk by using the train from the Bournemouth direction, the train arrives at 09.50 in Dorchester and buy a return ticket to Weymouth.
