We are the York Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
This is a circular walk from Blubberhouses taking paths around Fewston and Swinsty reservoirs and walking beside the River Washburn to Dobpark Bridge, an ancient packhorse bridge. If time allows we can visit the Washburn Heritage Centre and cafe at Fewston before walking back around the east side of Fewston Reservoir to the A59 to catch the bus back to Harrogate.

Catch the 8.42 Northern train from York Railway station to Harrogate arr 9.21. An off peak day return with senior railcard £7.30 and £11.00 without. We then catch the Dales bus 59 from Harrogate bus station at 9.45 arr Blubberhouses at 10.06.
The return bus leaves Blubberhouses at 16.10 arr Harrogate bus station at 16.36. Trains back to York are half-hourly.
