From Chalford church we take the tow path along the Thames and Severn Canal. We then turn up a fairly long and steep climb to Thrupp and across a field before descending through woodland and climbing once again to the Ram Inn and then down again to return to our starting point. Opportunity to visit the Lavender Bakehouse at the end of the walk.3 stiles, some road walking. 2 refreshment stops.
