We are the North Dorset Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Caundle is the Celtic word given to a chain of low hills and we will encounter a couple of ups, downs and flat bits in between! Quiet lanes, tracks, woodland and meadows with some far-reaching views. The walk takes us down New Lane, which is an ancient wooded byway, up Tut Hill, through Holt Wood and towards Stourton Caundle before heading back to Bishops Caundle.
Please bring a drink for a coffee break on route and your packed lunch to be eaten in the village hall at the end of the walk prior to the AGM.
