We are the East York Get Your Boots on Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Its that time of year again for our AGM, to hear about what we have accomplished over the last year and our plans for 2025.
Join us for a 4¼ mile walk from the lovely village of Welburn. It's a slightly hill circular walk through farmland and woodland, and will be followed by lunch and the AGM at the Crown & Cushion pub.
Meet at 10:15 if you are coming for the walk, or 12:30 if you are just coming to the AGM.
🅿️ On-street parking around Welburn church and at the village green. Please park considerately and car-share or come by bus if you can.
🍽️ We have the private dining room booked at the Crown & Cushion from 12.30pm. If you would like to attend for the lunch, there is a link to the menus on the Facebook event – please let us know your food choice by Friday 25th October, either put your choice in the discussion on Facebook or email nikbeckett@hotmail.com.
🐶 Dogs are allowed on the walk and also in the pub.
🚌 The East Yorkshire 81 bus leaving York station at 09:00 will get you into Welburn for 10:00, there are return buses at 14:42 or 16:37.
⚠️ Some parts of the walk may be muddy.
