An 8 mile circular walk starting from Saltergate car park, where we will head towards Skelton Tower, with views of the North York Moors steam railway and the North Yorkshire Moors. We will then drop into the village of Levisham and then back through woodland and finishing within the Hole of Horcum itself.
🅿️ Saltergate car park on the A169 (nearest postcode YO18 7NR, but please note this will not give you the exact location), £5.50 all day. Please note that it could be busy as it is the Easter weekend, so please consider car-sharing where possible and allow yourself plenty of time.
🚌 Coastliner 840 bus from York Stonebow at 08:30 and Malton at 09:15
🐶 Dogs are welcome, but must be kept on a lead at all times
🥪 You will need to bring a packed lunch with you
🍺 After the walk, we can head for a drink at the Fox & Rabbit or find somewhere in Pickering
🥾 This walk may be muddy in places, please wear the appropriate footwear
