The walk starts with a stroll along the Cleveland Way which on a clear will have far reaching views. We’ll stop for lunch at High Barn before heading down the steep hill.
The route continues along an undulating track winding through the trees until we get to Gormire Lake. After admiring the lake there is a steep climb back up to the car park of about 100m ascent.
The route is likely to be muddy in places so good footwear is recommended.

☕ After the walk, there is an option of going to the visitor's centre for a drink
🐶 Dogs are welcome, but must be kept on a lead
🥪 You will need to bring a packed lunch
🚻 Toilets can be found at the start of the walk next to the visitor's centre
