Our walk starts in the West Woods car park .Taking the White Horse Trail we skirt the town of Marlborough before entering the Savernake Forest and promenading along the Grand Avenue to Eight Paths.  Turning West we exit the forest and collect the Mid Wilts Way which takes us on to Martinsell Hill Fort and Huish Hill for the views of the Downs.  From here the path veers North back to the car park.

Please bring a packed lunch.
