This is a circular walk starting at the Weston village pond. the outward leg goes past Damask Green, Warren's Green and Hall's Green. We return past Coldash Wood and the outskirts of Clothall. The route is based upon Weston's Golden Jubilee Walk, although the few remaining post markers are now faded and suggest that I have chosen to walk in the wrong direction (anticlockwise).
There is a variety of landscapes on this route. The initial cattle country of Weston Park evolves into the chalk downland of the Weston Hills and the walk ends with the cat's cradle of small paths around the recreation ground.
We can take refreshments after the walk at the village pub, this is The Cricketers at Damask Green.
