We are the Sheffield Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.

We start by walking around Wetton Hill (ascent to the top optional) and down to Wettonmill (toilets and cafe). We then go up Ossoms Hill and to Grindon before descending to Back o’ th’ Brook and following the brook to the River Hamps. We then ascend on to Throwley Moor and return to Wetton via Throwley Hall and Beeston Tor. This is a walk which has a lot of ups and downs with some steep though short ascents.
This is a car ramble so we will meet to share cars at 08.50 at The junction Parkhead Road and Ecclesall Road.(opposite the Miller and Carter pub). The 08.30 218 bus from Sheffield interchange arrives at 08.52
